Farve4 caught the only local Saxon/Armored Saint date at the Palladium in Worcester, probably one of the worst concert venues in the country. The PA is bad, the acoustics are a mess, the staff is rude, and security is overly aggressive. Despite those issues, Farve4 got his gear in and got a surprisingly good recording. Like the Saxno set, the amount of bass enerty in the raw recording is unbelievable, especially considering that it was recorded with cardioid mics. Also, because a mosh pit broke out nearby, Farve4 was forced to change positions and locations more than one time during the set. This resulted in all kinds of phase shift. After EQing most of the excess bass energy out of the recordings, things sounded much better. The phase shift was also corrected, where possible, in several places. The result is a very nice recording. Feel free to trade this recording in the existing FLAC file format (BUT PLEASE INCLUDE THIS INFO FILE WITH ALL COPIES). Do not under any circumstances re-post this recording in any lossy format, or offer it for sale in any context.
