Many thanks to Mikesline for taping and sharing! As far as I know, this is the first time that his master tape makes it to the internet in lossless quality. Mikesline sent me 3 different tape transfers of his master tape, all created at different points in time. Transfer #1, the oldest one, is probably a more or less 'raw' transfer of the tape and sounds very good to me, but regrettably has lots of clicks due to small spots of digital silence on disc 1, probably caused by a defective CDR. Transfer #2 doesn't show any such issues, but is too heavily EQed for my taste (does not sound natural anymore). Transfer #3, the most recent one, sounds very good again, I guess it is only lightly EQed, but for some reason it is missing one song on disc 2. Thus, I decided to combine disc 1 from transfer #3 with disc 2 from transfer #1, and that's what I am sharing here. I manually removed the micro-gaps and a few bits of silence, resplit and tagged the recording. I did NOT do any sound-processing, resampling, EQing or anything like that. Enjoy!
