// Description
Many thanks to German taper and collector Holy84 for sending me this CDR clone of his master tape via snail mail. This recording was taped on a Sony Walkman. It has exactly the same sound, running time and track-splitting as Gutlit's version that was uploaded on Dime a few years ago, so Gutlit's version (which came without lineage information) was obviously a master clone too. I used the EAC WAV Compare tool to compare both versions, and only a few differences were spotted by the software, most of them during track 104 (see below). None of them were audible for me though. Speaking of track 104 (COTS), when I ripped Holy84's CDRs to my computer, EAC told me that track 104 had "suspicious positions" at 3:59, 4:02, 4:05, 4:13 and 4:21 of that track (see log file included in this upload). Anyway, I didn't hear any oddities when I listened to the ripped files. Nevertheless,I tried re-ripping with different software and then with a different drive and I did some comparisons using the EAC WAV Compare function; the result is that, on digital level, there is something not 100% right at the aforementioned positions, but whatever it is that isn't right, is totally inaudible to these ears. If anyone feels they do hear anything problematic there, feel free to send me a PM, and I will gladly send you Gutlit's version of the track so you can check if you hear a difference between both rips.
