Their first show in Destin since the 2014 acoustic tour. Very good turnout, possibly sold-out. Openers were Madame Mayhem, Fire From The Gods, and Memphis May Fire. Sevendust were very well rested and high-energy the entire set. Many fans were mentioning how loud it was after the show. It WAS like the old days, pretty freakin loud, even from my safer distance at the calm corner of the pit. I didn't do any e.q. work. Just a -3db on the left channel before hard-limiting both to -.01db with a 3db boost. You get nice highs and mids with some occasional low-end crunch. I used the low-cut switch on the R-09 but i have a feeling these mics are on their way out. Please continue to support Sevendust and heads up on the new record out May 11.
